Easter holiday fun

It strikes me that if anyone ever actually did look at this they would never let me know anyway because I declared at the very first post that noone would ever read this.  If anyone ever does read this feel free to say so ;-)

Easter holidays are in full swing, visiting grandparents so the littleones can play with their cousins is always fun but is a lot more hard work than just my own.  Glittery, sparkly, painted eggs, baking and story writing along with dancing and book reading make days fly by but bed time will be very welcome!!

  1. Hey, we all know what happens to blogs which claim no one will ever read them... ;)

    Sparkly painted eggs sound brilliant!

    2. Famous last words!

Do you really go past the Rain Bow Gate? And do people really like it? It's nice to hear, if they do!

    3. I wouldn't make it up I promise. It is amazing and I really am going back next time I'm here in the sun to see the rainbows.

You can't believe how amazed I was to find out you'd done it, small world or what, and seriously jealous that people can create something so amazing.

    4. I just wondered because people weren't very complimentary about it when we were installing it! So it's good to hear now it's there and finished that some people at least do actually enjoy it :)

Small world indeed... (I do prefer the one up on the moor though, the singing ringing tree. We did that too. And it's a bit spooky, but I love it.)

    5. If I can find the singing ringing tree I intend to have a look at that too but given I stopped living near 12 years ago and only come for football I don't really know my way around so I need to find directions :-)

burnley is a funny place change is never welcome until its been there a week and then it's suddenly accepted as a perminant part of town ;-)

    8. It's just off the Crown Point Road. There is a little car park area, and then a walkway to it. Make sure it's nice and windy for maximum spooky sounds! I think it's signposted as the Panopticon, but the last time I wwent up there was when we werer installing the RainBowGate - it being a fair old step from London :) and I can't quite remember.

(we tuned the pipes by sticking them out of the windows of our van and driving around fast)

I think it's lovely. But then I'm biased!

    9. Thanks, I'm going to take up the offer above as soon as I get chance and go see it, I knew the same company had made them but I wasn't sure if you had actually been involved in the singing ringing tree because I know it was a few years ago when it went up.

The image of a van with pipes sticking out, driving around madly, made me laugh but I guess it's a good way to do it :-)

You are allowed to be biased but I think actually you are amazingly talented to be able to create stuff like that :-)
